VME 6U computational board: 15 DSP processors SHARC ADSP 2116x

FLY-5G6 is the VME 6U board equipped with 15 DSP processors SHARC 2116x family,
designed for real-time applications requiring very high computational power (1-7 GFLOPS)
and very high response time (1us-1ms).
The board is used in data and image processing in many different areas such as image
identification, object localisation and tracking (radar, sonar), wideband communication and others.

FLY5G6 structure:
The FLY-5G6 VME boards utilized fully the concept of processing clusters. The ADI SHARC
processors forming the clusters use the distributed bus scheduling logic and fast link-ports for intensive exchange of data.
